Best Charter Boat – SunVenture Cruises
For the third year in a row, SunVenture Cruises is the Best Charter Boat. Specializing in Crab Island Excursions and Sunset Dolphin Cruises, SunVenture Cruises offers fun in the sun aboard two 45′ Corinthian catamarans. You can see SunVenture I & II cruising from Destin and Okaloosa Island daily from May – October. You’ve probably seen guests dancing in their seats as our Captains cruise out to Crab Island. Our crew takes care of it all, from inflating floats for guests to enjoy to grabbing you another drink from your cooler so that you can spend more time in the waist-deep waters of Crab Island.

Best of the Emerald Coast – Event Recap
Each year, the winners of Best of the Emerald Coast gather to celebrate at Grand Boulevard. This sold-out event is attended by locals and visitors to the Emerald Coast to enjoy a night surrounded by the best of the best. The SunQuest catering chefs served samples of our Short Rib Small Plates, a special rendition of our Braised Boneless Short Rib served on the SOLARIS Yacht dinner cruise. The short rib is cooked in a tawny port, served with garlic mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and topped with a smoked tomato cream sauce.
SunQuest’s very own design team, including Christy, one of our Wedding Planners, Kristi, our Marketing Director, Marta, our Head Florist & Designer, and Courtney, Director of Events, set up the SunQuest Catering tent in the VIP section at the Best of the Emerald Coast event located in the Grand Boulevard shopping center in Sandestin. The event proceeds benefitted the Junior League of the Emerald Coast. Read more about the event here!
Sticking to what we know best, the design team showcased a stunning floral installation featuring a rainbow of dried florals. The piece consisted of dried palms, cattails, orchids, Italian rusks, and anthuriums of pink, yellows, oranges, greens, and whites. In addition, the table was adorned with gold bud vases and urns filled with tropical bright flowers.
