Beginning today, the reggae fusion duo, Simply D’Vyne, will begin performing exclusively on the SOLARIS dinner and dancing cruises. This new live music entertainment option in Destin Florida takes the SOLARIS dinner cruises to new heights as their music accentuates an already unforgettable experience. Simply D’Vyne’s music is a blend of rhythm, acoustic, harmonics, electronics, classics, roots & melody. Simply D’Vyne is a harmonious addition to the SOLARIS dinner cruises in the Destin / Sandestin area as guests enjoy unlimited views of the sunset, indulge in a three course meal and dance to live music.
The band Simply D’Vyne was founded in 2010 by husband and wife EdMo and Gwen. Simply D’vyne released their CD “Spirit Bone & Clay” globally in February 2019. The duo can be heard on Amazon Music, Spotify and other online music streaming services around the world.

About the Live Music on Our Destin Dinner Cruises
Simply D’Vyne will play on the main deck of the SOLARIS yacht but their soothing, tropical sounds can be heard throughout all three decks of the SOLARIS yacht. After toasting to the sunset on the sky deck, guests can return to their tables to begin their three-course meal while listening to the live music. Simply D’Vyne’s Reggae Fusion sound is a natural compliment to the coastal views and ever-changing sunset as the SOLARIS leisurely cruises through the Destin waters. Guests can sit back and relax while listening to the live music, dance under the stars on the sky deck or they can make their way to the dance floor on the main deck.
Gwen D’Vyne, the lead vocalist & lyricist for Simply D’Vyne, is very familiar with the SOLARIS yacht and has actually been part of the SunQuest Cruises family for several years. She followed her radio career to the Destin area from Chicago Il. Gwen grew up singing gospel with her family and began her professional career in music right here in the Destin area. Gwen has performed on stages all across the south and is returning to Solaris yacht where she performed for seven years prior to meeting EdMo Lanier. Her sultry alto voice draws you in. If you look and listen you will hear & see her soul.
EdMo Lanier, the music director for Simply D’Vyne, attended FAMU in Tallahassee Florida on a trumpet scholarship where he also performed with the famous Marching 100 Band. His professional career includes performing at Disney, with the the show band aboard the Regal Empress Cruise line, touring with Grammy Winner blues artist Michael Burks. EdMo has played bass for Nancy Wilson, Ben Vereen, Nat Adderley & Lucky Peterson to drop a few names. EdMo plays bass, piccolo bass, keys and vocals. He writes, records and produces the musical content for Simply D’Vyne’s live shows, studio performances and recordings. His instrumental cd “You Make Me Smile” can be heard on Amazon Music and other streaming services.
