SOLARIS Destin Wedding Venues Profile | Jacob and Devin’s Feb 2016 Celestial Wedding and Reception

 
Jacob and Devin worked with our wedding planners to plan a dream yacht wedding on the waters of Destin on the SOLARIS yacht. They chose a unique “Full Moon” themed wedding, a majestic theme for a SOLARIS yacht wedding.   Jacob dreams of being an astronaut one day and they both have a passion for celestial things. A full moon was predicted for February 22, 2016 and it was all hands on deck to make it an unforgettable wedding.
 
The SOLARIS wedding planners went to work, decorating the yacht in dark navy blue and metallic star confetti to coincide with the night sky and their theme. Devin walked down the aisle in a elegant, strapless, full length sparkled wedding dress. Her bouquet mimicked the colors of the bridal parties’ dresses, with a sea of blues and purples. They were married by Captain Matt on the sky deck of the SOLARIS Yacht.
 
Although the stars didn’t align for a clear full moon, a majestic moment did occur when Jacob and Devin had their first dance on the open air sky deck of the SOLARIS yacht, as the sky’s parted and they danced under the glorious moonlight of a full moon. Devin changed from her stunning wedding gown to a beautiful silk, navy gown perfectly accented with a sparkled shawl.
 
They played other fun songs throughout the night, including “Rocket Man” and served Moon Pies as part of the dessert. Guests exited by a sign saying “We are Over the Moon that you Came.” Too cute!
 
And what celestial wedding is complete without a sparkler exit off the yacht. Congrats to this amazing couple!
