For the fourth consecutive year, readers of the Knot have voted the SOLARIS as the “Best Wedding & Reception Venue” in Destin Florida. We are tremendously grateful for this recognition and honored to be apart of so many beautiful couples’ lives as they embark on a lifetime of memories.
This accolade made our staff reflect back on the nearly 10 years of Destin wedding memories aboard the SOLARIS and we couldn’t help but share some of our favorite moments.
This was one of our first weddings in March of 2005 with Courtney and Michael. They are are about to celebrate their 8th anniversary and still reminisce about that magical day on the SOLARIS with family and friends.
Jessica and Jimmy were married this past fall on a picturesque evening. Jimmy was dressed in his military uniform but it wasn’t all business that day. They even had a little fun and cut the cake with his sword (psst, don’t tell the captain!).
This couple was so much fun…this is only one of the many candid pictures that were taken of their Destin wedding. Do you think he’s excited? And Captain Steve’s expression is just priceless.
We could go on and on but we seriously have the best job in world, making dreams come true for these great couples. Each SOLARIS wedding is as unique as the couple themselves as our event planners and chefs work with them to make their dreams a reality. Each couple brings a new journey of creativity and personality to the SOLARIS as it’s transformed for their Destin wedding.
