Love is in the air and our wedding planners are ecstatic about the many fall weddings planned aboard the SOLARIS yacht . Congrats to Marjorie and Scott who just said yes to the SOLARIS wedding venue for a beautiful fall Destin wedding. Marjorie and Scott will be taking full advantage of having their yacht wedding and reception all in one convenient location on the SOLARIS yacht in Sandestin.
Marjorie and Scott are working with our wedding planners to incorporate their signature wedding color of teal throughout their wedding and reception, a perfect compliment to the waters they will be married on. Over the next few weeks, our chefs and wedding planners will work closely with these lovebirds to make sure their wedding is as special as they are.
Marjorie and Scott were engaged last October, immersed in beautiful fall foliage in the Georgia mountains. Now a year later, they are embarking on a memorable fall wedding on the Emerald Coast waters. Here is their love and engagement as told by Marjorie.
“Scott and I met on a backpacking trip to Yellowstone National Park with some mutual friends two and a half years ago. He asked me out for ice cream the day we got back and we have been attached at the hip ever since. After graduating from Utah State University, we moved to Florida last June for work and new experiences. Last October we went on a fall trip to Blue Ridge, Georgia to hike around the mountains to see the fall color. That’s where he surprised me by proposing at the top of a waterfall.”
